LG GW300 QWERTY Phone on Display

Wednesday, July 8, 2009

LG-GW300-QWERTY-Phone-on-Display-2 LG Electronics seems determined to launch as many new mobile phones as it needs so as to be able to gain that second position on the market and leave Samsung behind. While new phones are always a good thing, especially when they are attractive and easy to use, the idea of teasing users with the upcoming devices seems to be

beneficial as well, and has become a widely adopted practice lately.
The South Korean mobile phone maker has announced plans to release a new version of its highly popular Chocolate device later during the ongoing year, and it seems that other phones are under development as well, including the newly unveiled LG GW300, a low-end handset that sports a QWERTY keypad, meant to enable fast messaging.
The new device comes as a feature phone that also sports built-in Facebook and e-mail clients, proving to be a rather attractive messaging handset that also sports a low price tag. LG GW300 includes a 2.4-inch QVGA display able to boast a 240 x 320 resolution, support for 2.5G GSM, GPRS/EDGE network frequencies, as well as Bluetooth and USB 2.0 connectivity, not to mention SMS and MMS functionality, as well as an MP3 player. Wi-Fi and 3G won't come around with this handset for sure.
Although the device seems to come around with a photo snapper, there are no exact details on its specifications. The photos with the new LG GW300 that the company made available show it in all its splendor, and more details can be drawn from there as well. Hopefully, the phone maker won't be too late with unveiling the complete specs list of the phone, and some more info on its availability and pricing should also emerge in the near future so stay tuned to learn the news.
